95% of bourbon is made in the great state of Kentucky. This tasting showcases how distilleries create their unique bourbon while their competitors are quite literally just down the road.

America is known for its bourbon, but all types of whiskey are found within its borders. This tasting discusses the differences in bourbon, rye, single malts, and other categories.

Rye: the original grain of American whiskey. This tasting dives into the history of rye and how it’s resurgence among whiskey enthusiasts has led to the rye market exploding onto the map.

Our friends at Old Hickory Whiskey Bar have picked private barrels of whiskey across the country. This tasting showcases their current portfolio and is led by OHWB’s owner, Katie Garrett.

How much does a private tasting cost?
Monday-Thursday $100 / Friday-Sunday $150 + per person cost of selected offering.
A whiskey expert will guide your party through the basics of tasting spirits, educate guests on the selected offering’s topics, and at least six pours of spirits to taste throughout the experience.
What do private tastings include?
All tastings include water and crackers. Small bites (i.e. charcuterie) are available at an additional $10 per person. Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available upon request.
Will food be provided?
Guests will have free use to decorate the space for a special occasion 30 mins prior to event start. All items must be removed upon conclusion of event.
Music playlists can be customized to the party’s preference. A television is also available for use.
Requests for specific whiskeys are welcome, but not guaranteed. An additional cost might be added.
20% deposit is required to complete booking.
100% refundable up to 7 days prior to event.
50% refundable 6 or less days prior to event.
Non-refundable day of event.
